parks and the promotion of the coexistence "

The urban parks must stop
being merely ornamental elements, to become spaces of citizen
interrelation.
- the potential of the
urban Parks like integrating spaces and of cultural
diffusion, is very superior to which at the moment they
have.
- the parks are the
best urban elements, to break barriers between diverse
cultures, races, sexes, ages, beliefs and religions, by
their possibility much more of welcoming diverse
activities, that the streets or the seats were it long
ago, when the parks did not exist
- to offer this
potential, the parks must of being managed integrally.
Everything what it happens in a park, from the
maintenance to the contemplation, the stroll, the use
like cultural or sport space, must of being observed from
a same optics and criterion of management.
- the citizen
participation in its multiple forms; during the
projectual phase, the execution and the future
management, must have a high-priority paper. The parks
are of the citizen and for the citizen, reason why its
implication is essential.
- the coexistence
between the people must be seen reflected in the new
urbanism. Much more multicultural the present society,
demands other models of parks.
- Is desirable and
necessary the implication of the private associations and
foundations in the design the management and financing
Urban Parks.
- the Great Urban Parks
must attract people, this will be obtained designing them
so that they fulfill this objective, considering the uses
and activities, the comfort and the image, the
accessibility and the bonds external and finally the
sociability.
- We like managers
and/or creators of open spaces, must have like pounding
basic the social factor at the time of taking to the
practice the projects of a coherent and satisfactory way.
